Application for migration certificate. 

Migration certificate is required when you want to change your college, you university or board.

You will need it when you want to leave your present board or university and join another board or university.

Example, You want to change your present State Board (SEBA) to Central Board (CBSE).

Some students have confusion on Migration and Transfer. 

Transfer means leaving your college, school or  any Institute.

But migration means changing your Board/University as well as your College or school. 

Application for any institute comes under formal letter.

There are two types of letter. 

1. Formal:

A letter written for formal purpose is called Formal letter.

It can be individual to institute Or institute to individual.

Formal letters can be written for a wide range of purposes and may come in a variety of shapes including a letter of complaint, leave application, a cover letter accompanying a job application, a letter of invitation, a reference letter, or a proposal letter - to name a few.

Though each will adhere to their own rules of formatting and tone, when writing any formal letter you should avoid using slang or contractions. Language should be straightforward and polite. Encourage yourself to avoid bursts of purple  in favor of direct, functional language.

Usually a formal letter will be written to achieve a particular end and should be written with that end foremost in mind. You should avoid meanderings and stay firmly focused on the task at hand.

2. Informal. 

It is a letter written for personal purpose. It can be A greetings to a friends or family or relatives.

Informal letter like, letters to best friend, letter to relatives who are far away.

In short, it is A letter used for unofficial purposes.

Your Application should be:

1. Written according to the type of letters.

2. They should have the address, date, salutation and subscription.

3. They are accurate, specific and concise.

4 Theyare expressed in a coherent and organized manner.

5. Should not have absolute expression.

6. Should be simple and to the point.
